What is WRAP® (Wellness Recovery Action Plan)?
· WRAP is a plan that YOU create to support your mental health journey, stay well, and prevent crisis situations
· WRAP helps you to figure out what you need to do every day to stay well, learn your triggers, recognize when things are going downhill, and develop safe, simple tools to help yourself through difficult times
· WRAP is delivered through a peer group workshop model, led by trained peer facilitators who have developed their own WRAP plans and live WRAP every day
· WRAP is not a replacement for other mental health treatments, but is a tool that puts YOU in the driver’s seat of your wellness and recovery, because YOU have the power to get well and stay well!
This session of Youth WRAP will take place on Tuesday evenings at the Mental Health Association in Tompkins County from 4:15pm-5:45pm over the course of 10 weekly meetings, beginning on September 28th.
